The IEP Ambassador Program is an online peace education program created by the Institute for Economics and Peace. It aims to empower individuals to promote peace and positive social change in their communities.

The IEP Ambassador Program and certificate of completion is currently available for free.

The IEP Ambassador Program is a self-paced online course that consists of approximately 3 hours of video content. Participants have a total of six weeks to complete the online modules, quizzes, and presentation. It's important to check the program's specific cohort timeline to ensure that you meet the completion deadline.

The IEP Ambassador Program covers topics such as Positive Peace, the Global Peace Index, the Global Terrorism Index, the Ecological Threat Report, systems thinking and more.

The IEP Ambassador Program is an online, self-paced course that consists of 3 modules, 2 quizzes, and a final presentation. 

All participants are required to:

1. Read and watch the video content in Modules 1, 2 and 3
2. Complete and pass the quizzes at the end of Modules 1 and 2
3. Complete a presentation that utilises the concepts you have learned. Further guidance is available in Module 3.

Submit details of presentation via the submission section by the due date.

All participants who successfully fulfil the requirements of the program will receive a certificate and letter of completion.

There are multiple cohorts of the IEP Ambassador Program each year. You can submit an expression of interest in the IEP Ambassador Program by visiting the IEP Ambassador site and clicking on the ‘Express Interest’ button. We will then notify you via email when the next round of applications is open.

Currently, the IEP Ambassador Program is only available in English.

The IEP Ambassador Program is designed to be user-friendly and easy to navigate. Simply click on the module or section you would like to access from the course dashboard.

Once you have enrolled in the IEP Ambassador Program, you can access the course materials at any time by logging in to your account using your email address and password. However, please note that the specific cohort timelines may vary, so it's important to check the program's schedule to ensure that you have enough time to complete the course within the set deadline.

Yes, you can retake the quizzes in Modules 1 and 2 if you do not pass them on your first attempt. The program encourages learning and understanding of the content.

Survey or Presentation submissions can be accessed only once you complete each of the three modules of the program.

Your feedback is valuable. Please feel free to provide feedback on the program content and structure through the survey at the end of the program.

1. Identify your audience and the place where you will give your presentation. Make sure everyone knows when and where it will take place. 
2. Prepare materials. Will you need a computer or projector or print materials? 
3. Have a friend take photos or a video of you presenting – this will be required to validate your presentation! 
4. We recommend you complete the online submission form as soon as you are complete, so you don’t forget!  

A full checklist of activities is available at the conclusion of Module 3.

You can present to any audience you choose! This may be your network, club, colleagues, friends, classmates, family, your community or the public.  

The minimum number you should present to is 1 other person. Your audience can be as big or small as you’d like! 

In person and online are both suitable. 

Your presentation can be in any language. We have a global network of Ambassadors.

IEP will not assess the challenge based on how long your presentation is. The ideal duration is 10-15 minutes, with a minimum of 5 minutes. The duration may vary based on your audience, the level of detail and the content. 

We’ve tried to make things as easy as possible for you so everything you need for this part can be found in Module 3! IEP provides you with an example IEP Ambassador Challenge presentation and notes that you can use to:  

• Download and use to present if you have access to audio visual equipment or a computer 
• Write up on paper, a whiteboard, or chalkboard to present with  
• Verbally present if you don’t have access to any other materials  

In Module 3, we even run you through what to say on each of the slides!  

No, this presentation is provided as a guide. Whilst you are welcome to use it, if you would like to change our presentation to suit your needs or make your own presentation, you are more than welcome to.  

No, you don’t need to send us a full recording of your presentation. You can provide photos and/or a short clip.  

Your presentation must be done within the dates of your cohort. Your presentation is your chance to demonstrate your learnings of IEP’s research material through the course content.  
  
Past presentations or details of any future (planned) presentations will not be accepted.

Yes! You can do as many presentations as you like.  

Submit the presentation details via Challenge submission form, only once you have completed the presentation.

1. Sign in to Google drive (or any other storage sites like One drive, Dropbox etc.)
2. Create a new folder and upload all the photos or videos of your presentation.
3. Rename the folder with your full name for identification.
4. Share:
   • For Google drive
   • For One Drive
   • For Dropbox
      

If you are unable to complete your challenge due to safety concerns, we ask that you reach out to us using the support form below and we will provide alternative solutions.

If you are unable to submit your challenge within the deadline, we encourage you to re-apply and join the next cohort.

If you have provided us with details of your presentation, then please wait patiently for your next email from IEP. Our team will contact you if there has been an issue with your submission. Otherwise, you can expect your submission to be assessed and to receive your certificate of completion. Please view the timeline of your specific cohort to see the date this will be received by.  

Once you have successfully completed:

1. all of the modules
2. your presentation
3. uploaded evidence of your presentation and
4. had your evidence assessed by IEP staff

Yes, IEP hosts online zoom events and, on occasion, in person events for IEP Ambassadors to join and meet with IEP staff and each other. All IEP event information can be found through our events and webinars page on our website, Vision of Humanity.

IEP are unable to offer funding or any financial assistance to IEP Ambassadors or Program participants.

Yes, you are encouraged to share your IEP Ambassador Program certificate and achievements on professional networking platforms like LinkedIn to showcase your commitment to peace education.

• March 19, 2024: Applications open for April 2024 cohort
• April 19, 2024: Applications close
• April 22, 2024: Qualified applicants will be notified of their acceptance into the program
• April 29, 2024: Program starts – participants will be provided with a link to sign up and get access to the Ambassador Program
• June 10, 2024: Program closes – participants are required to submit their final presentations for assessment by this date
• June 24, 2024: Ambassadors who have successfully completed all parts of the program will receive a certificate and letter of completion
